Romsons Medworld Pvt. Ltd. is a significant arm of the Romsons Group, a household name in the healthcare industry with over 70 years of legacy. Renowned for manufacturing high-quality disposable medical devices — ranging from IV cannulas and catheters to surgical dressings — Romsons serves both the Indian healthcare system and export markets in over 65 countries. This facility in Sanand GIDC is a strategic addition to their manufacturing footprint, designed to meet the surging global demand for critical care and surgical disposables while adhering to the strictest international hygiene and safety standards.
Developing a campus for medical devices requires a different caliber of engineering compared to standard industrial sheds. Situated on a spacious 2,69,000 Sq. Ft. plot, the facility was master-planned to support a sterile and controlled production environment. The initial built-up area of 86,080 Sq. Ft. is engineered to house specialized clean rooms, sterilization units, and automated assembly lines. Taksh Group’s execution focused on delivering a dust-free, seamless civil structure capable of maintaining positive air pressure and strict temperature controls — critical for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance. The low built-up density allows for significant future expansion and ensures that the facility maintains the open, uncontaminated zones necessary for high-grade medical production.
The project was brought to life through a collaborative effort with Space Vision Pvt Ltd, a consultancy known for delivering optimized industrial layouts. Their design ensured that the facility’s flow — from raw material intake to sterilization and dispatch — was logical and compliant with medical regulations. Taksh Group executed this vision with clinical precision, delivering high-quality flooring and robust structural frameworks that provide a safe, sterile foundation for Romsons’ life-saving products.
