Job Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager to handle the execution of industrial building constructing projects. The role involves project planning, coordination, and monitoring to ensure timely completion within budget and required quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day execution of industrial building construction projects
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and site teams
  • Track site progress and ensure adherence to timelines
  • Monitor quality standards and safety compliance
  • Support procurement, vendor coordination, and resource planning
  • Prepare progress reports and conduct regular site reviews
  • Lead and manage the complete lifecycle of industrial building construction projects from initiation to final handover.
  • Develop detailed project execution plans including scope, timeline, cost estimation, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare, track, and regularly update project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Control project budgets effectively and take corrective actions to avoid cost overruns.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and design teams for smooth project execution.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Manage selection, coordination, and performance of vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Supervise site execution activities and provide continuous guidance to site teams.
  • Plan and manage manpower deployment to ensure optimum productivity at site.
  • Ensure timely procurement and availability of construction materials as per project requirements.
  • Maintain strict quality control and ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
  • Enforce safety regulations at site and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, permits, labour laws and documentation.
  • Prepare and review BOQs, work certifications, and billing statements.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports along with MIS reporting.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve site issues and delays to ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Manage project closure activities including final documentation and handover formalities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • B Tech / BE / Diploma Civil Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts and project planning tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge Familiar with MS Project, Autocade
