Mahabal Metals Pvt. Ltd.
Mahabal Metals Pvt. Ltd. is a premier name in the manufacturing of critical casting components for the automotive and engineering sectors. To support the surging demand from OEMs in Western India, the company established this massive foundry complex in Sanand GIDC, Gujarat’s automotive heartland. This strategic location places Mahabal Metals in direct proximity to major automobile giants, facilitating Just-in-Time (JIT) delivery of heavy-duty engine and transmission components. The facility is designed to withstand the rigorous operational demands of high-temperature metal casting while maintaining world-class safety standards.
The development of this industrial campus was executed in two significant phases, covering a combined plot area of nearly 6,00,000 Sq. Ft. (3,22,920 Sq. Ft. + 2,69,100 Sq. Ft.). The project required specialized heavy civil engineering to accommodate the extreme loads of foundry equipment, including melting furnaces and sand-casting lines. Taksh Group delivered a total built-up area of 2,95,960 Sq. Ft., featuring reinforced deep foundations and high-capacity industrial flooring to handle constant heavy machinery movement. The infrastructure network, spanning over 94,000 Sq. Ft., was meticulously planned to separate raw material logistics from finished goods dispatch, ensuring a streamlined flow essential for a high-volume foundry environment.
A unique highlight of this project is Taksh Group’s role as a complete solution provider. For the first phase, Taksh Group delivered a full EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) solution, handling everything from structural design to final handover in-house. This demonstrates our capability to move beyond traditional contracting into full-spectrum project ownership. For the second phase, we collaborated with Parikh Associate (Sangli) to expand the facility’s footprint, ensuring seamless integration between the initial EPCM-designed unit and the expansion, maintaining unified operational standards across the entire campus.
